Lars Graugaard: Engage and Share

Engage and Share is the title of the new record by Danish composer Lars Graugaard. Graugaard composed three pieces Engage and share, Slonk and Blind Lemon for sinfonietta, commissioned by the Spanish ensemble El Grup Instrumental de Valéncia. In the piece Engage and Share we have birdlike clouds that move rapidly in close harmony. The first part of Slonk brings back rhythmic memories from Lars´ealier pieces. In Blind Lemon, hints of the melodies are regulary disturbed by dissonant, parallel lines.
